Sri Ramanathaswamy Temple is a famous Hindu temple, situated in Rameswaram Island of Ramanathapuram district, Tamilnadu. This temple is devoted to lord Shiva. In the 12th century, this temple was built by Pandya Dynasty. This temple is a holy pilgrimage site for Hindus all over the world.
According to the Ramayana, Lord Rama prayed to Lord Shiva to remove the sin of killing Demon Ravana who was a Great Scholar and Brahmana. Sri Rama wanted a huge idol of Linga to worship. He ordered Lord Hanuman, to bring the idol of lingam from the Himalayas. Hanuman delayed bringing the lingam, so Goddess Sita, the wife of Lord Srirama, built a lingam by using the sand that is available in the Temple place.

Utthiamman is the Kula Deivam for the sect of the Koviar community, which is distributed in the state of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. Utthiamman Kovil is located in Kottaipatti village in Vembakottai taluk, Virudhunagar district, Tamil Nadu. Uthiamman is also considered another manifestation of Parvati and Durga of the vedic hindu pantheon. Uthiamman, the mother goddess is believed to be a bringer of prosperity and abundance.
AGATHIYAR JEEVANAADI
Thirupani at Sri Agathiyar Arutkudil, Vishar. A temple for Sri Guru is going to be built in Kanchipuram city, which is considered the holy city in the holy country of India, according to the grace order of Lok Guru Sri Agathiya Peruman. Sri Agathiya Peruman in his Jiva Granth Nadi issued a grace order to build a temple for him a few years ago. He also chose the place where the temple should be built and accordingly, land was purchased in Vishar village to build the temple. He has given orders to construct a cow mutt and an almshouse in the temple to be constructed. He ordered that the temple to be constructed should be built of black stone and should be built according to Panchatchara Agama rules.
